Lofoten Guide Service AS and Tromsø Guide Service deals mainly with guiding, and arranging tours for cruise ships, the Coastal Steamer (Hurtigruten), and tour operators. 

This forms the bulk of our activities.  Within one year of opening, we established ourselves as the leading contractor and guide service in Lofoten, a position we have maintained ever since.

In 2006, we established the daughter company Tromsø Guide Service, localized in Tromsø.

Tromsø Guide Service offers the same services as Lofoten Guide Service.

The two companies works closely together, and guides from Tromsø can be used in Lofoten and vice versa.

This season we will engage around 100 guides, and can offer tours in Norwegian, English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Russian, Japanese, and Finnish.

Our guides have all undergone basic training.  This involves attending a guiding course in addition to private study and joining a number of tours as an observer.

Tromsø Guide Service is based in Tromsø. Our offices are at the second floor in  Søndre Tollbodgate 3A - In the heart of Tromsø
