Prices 2008 - Lofoten Guide Service

Dispatch fee

• In connection with shore excursions from cruise ships we charge NOK 180 (+25% tax) per bus/guide to organise buses, guides and passengers on the pier upon departure and arrival of the excursions.  Please note that this service is obligatory.

The guide will arrive

• 30 min. prior to starting time for cruise ships. 15 min. prior to starting time for other groups.

Booking terms

• All bookings must be confirmed by fax, letter, or e-mail.
• The booking must state the time and place of meeting, the number of hours, and information for the guide about museum, gallery, etc. visits that have been booked.
• The prices do not include entrance fees or the hire of transport.

Extras/Cancellation fee

• Cancellation less than 24 hours before appointed time: NOK 500
• “No show”: If the group fails to appear without prior notice, 100% of the agreed fee will be charged.
• For tours that start/end outside Leknes and Svolvær, extra hours and travel expenses for the guide will be added. This also applies for all tours that have a drop-off point that is different from the pick-up point.
• In the case of all day tours and/or tours that require the guide to be away from home overnight, meals and accommodation must be provided for the guide.

Payment terms

• By voucher (for clients with a credit agreement):

-           The voucher must state the exact services as booked.

-           The client’s representative must sign for extra services (e.g. extra hours) not stated on the voucher. The client will be invoiced for extra expenses.

• Cash to the guide: This must be confirmed by Lofoten Guide Service.
• Payment is due:                                   14 days from invoice date
• Fee for delayed payment:                    1.5 % per month.
• For payment by international bank draft, please add NOK 110
